Heavy winds help spark blaze in North Reading

North Reading (AP) -- Strong winds may've contributed to a house fire in North Reading.

The blaze broke out around 11:30 a.m. at a home on Park Street in North Reading.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation, but fire officials believe the blaze was sparked after heavy winds toppled a power line onto the home.

Three children were inside at the time of the fire, but everyone managed to get out safely.

The home did sustain some damage to the living are and smoke damage throughout.
