Boston (WBZ Newsroom) -- An update on the story of a Lynnfield veterinarian who died this month in a Virgin Islands hotel room in what's been described as a suicide:
The husband has been removed as executor of her estate.
The Boston Globe reports the family of Dr. Joan Baruffaldi got a judge to make that move. they're charging the husband -- her second marriage -- killed her so he could collect $3 million in real estate she owned.
The family has filed a wrongful death lawsuit, and they're pressing for a second autopsy.
Virgin Islands police are continuing their investigation.
