Nantucket (AP) -- Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Jill Biden, are continuing a family tradition of spending Thanksgiving with family on Nantucket.
The family started the tradition of spending the holiday on the island more than three decades ago, but this will be the former Delaware senator's first Thanksgiving as vice president there.
Island residents are unlikely to see the vice president. The White House says no public events are scheduled.
