October snow hits much of Massachusetts

Boston (WBZ Newsroom)  -- Snow on the field at Gillette Stadium didn't deter Tom Brady, who tossed an NFL-record five touchdown passes in the second quarter of the Patriots' game with the Titans.

But elsewhere, the snow created hazardous driving on many roads and highways. State police reported a number of spinouts and fender-benders, including a tractor-trailer that jackknifed on the MassPike near exit 23.
