Gardner (AP) -- A Gardner man has been ordered held on $50,000 cash bail after pleading not guilty to charges related to an ATV crash that killed his teenage passenger.
Jason Perini appeared in Gardner District Court on Monday before court Magistrate Daniel Langelier and faces charges including motor vehicle homicide while operating under the influence of alcohol and leaving an accident scene causing personal injury and death.
The crash Saturday night killed 17-year-old Abby Gosselin-Remming of Leominster.
Police told the Telegram & Gazette of Worcester that Perini was giving people rides on the ATV at a party in Winchendon.
During one ride, Perini allegedly passed a car at high speed and crashed into a tree.
Gosselin-Remming was taken to a Worcester hospital, where she died. Perini was arrested early Sunday morning.
