New Bedford (AP) -- A New Bedford teen was ordered held without bail on Friday, a day after he was arrested for allegedly killing a young mother in a shooting outside his home.
Authorities say 17-year-old Erick Cournoyer gunned down his ex-girlfriend, 18-year-old Bianca Maria Rosado, on Wednesday night, and wounded her boyfriend, 17-year-old Victor Camacho.
Camacho, who was in stable condition at a local hospital, has a 15-month-old son with Rosado.
Rosado graduated from New Bedford High School last month. In her yearbook, she said her happiest times were when she was with "Victor Camacho and our son."
It was the fourth homicide in New Bedford in less than three weeks.
