June 1, 2009

It is the first of June and the NBA Finals begin Thursday night.

Who do you like, the Lakers or Magic?

Obviously, if you are a Celtics fan, you are pulling for Orlando for a couple of reasons. First, you cheer for anyone playing the Lakers and second, you can at least say your team lost to the eventual champions.

Speaking of the Celtics, how about a big hand for Kendrick Perkins. When you see what Orlando's Dwight Howard did against the Cleveland Cavaliers, especially in the clinching game six win, you have a better appreciation for Perk's play against Howard, who devoured the Cavs with a 40-point night.

You can make your Finals pick in our current sports web poll question: Lakers or Magic.

Vote early, vote often. Pretend you are in Cook County, Illinois.
