Taunton (AP) -- A 29-year-old Taunton man was shot to death while riding in a car early Sunday morning.
State police say another car pulled up next to the one carrying Troy Pina and opened fire at about 1:45 a.m.
Pina, who was sitting in the front passenger seat, was pronounced dead a short time later at St. Anne's Hospital in Fall River.
Police say they believe the shouting happened on Route 24 in Taunton, Berkley or Freetown.
