Teen shot twice enroute to school in Roxbury



Suspect Description:

Gender: black male
Age: approx. 19
Height: 5’9’’-6’1’’
Build: Thin

Last seen with: a black jacket with a black or dark green hooded sweatshirt, black sunglasses and carrying a colored umbrella.

 

A15-year-old boy who was apparently on this way to school was shot twice, once in the head, this morning near at bus stop in Roxbury.

It happened at 305 block of Dudley Street at around 7:15 a.m.

A police deputy superintendent tells WBZ Newsradio it appears the boy was targeted and they are looking for a suspect, described as a young black male.

The victim was taken to Boston Medical Center where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries and not expected to survive. The victim is a local student. 

The Boston Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the facts and circumstances of this incident.
