Boston (WBZ Newsroom)  -- Dogs and their owners have come from across the country to the Bayside Expo Center in South Boston to attend the Bay Colony Dog Show, one of the nation's largest American Kennel Club events.
 
Nearly 2,000 top dogs representing 155 breeds will be in attendance.

The dogs and their owners will be competing each day for "Best In Show" honors. The Boston show features the competitors from around the country who are on the road to Westminster dog show.

Over 20,000 people are expected to attend the event which runs through Sunday.
