Boston, MA (WBZ Newsroom) -- A Jet Blue flight, headed from Boston to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, had to be diverted because of a fist fight between two passengers.
An airline spokeswoman says Flight 455 had to be diverted to the Raleigh-Durham airport Saturday.
A witness says the altercation started after a passenger was apparently smoking in the airplane bathroom, which is prohibited. That passenger’s brother then confronted him, and the two got into an alleged fist fight.
When it landed in North Carolina, the FBI was on-scene to handle the matter. It’s unclear if any charges were brought.
The plane eventually continued onto Fort Lauderdale.
