Fla man sentenced in NH to 10 years in prison

Concord, N.H. (AP)  -- A Florida man has been sentenced in New Hampshire federal court to 10 years in prison for driving out of state with a 15-year-old girl, whom he met online.

Twenty-seven-year-old Daniel Moses Lenz was convicted last year after a three-day trial of causing the transportation of a minor in interstate commerce for the purpose of engaging in illicit sexual conduct.

The girl, who was from Windham, was found in South Carolina with Lenz last March a day after she left her parents a note saying she was moving to the Boston area.

Police believed she was on her way to meet Lenz, who was convicted in 1999 of sexual battery against a minor.

Police said Lenz met the girl online while playing "World of Warcraft," a massive role-playing game that allows members to play others from around the world.
