Wakefield (WBZ Newsroom) -- Wakefield police have released the name of a woman who was killed in a hit-and-run Monday night.
44-year old Susan Harmon was struck by a car while walking along Greenwood Street near the Melrose line at about 11 p.m.
Witnesses tell police that Harmon was struck by either a green or tan Audi with darkened windows. Police were still searching for the car on Wednesday.
Harmon was taken to Melrose-Wakefield Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
