Nashua, NH (AP) -- A former New Hampshire high school teacher, accused of raping a student, has avoided jail time as part of a plea agreement.
Kevin Goddu, who taught social studies at Timberlane Regional High School, in Plaistow, was charged with 14 counts of felony sexual assault last year, but his trial ended in a hung jury in November.
Goddu pleaded guilty Thursday to some of the charges, admitting he engaged in sexual acts with an underage girl.
He won’t have to register as a sex offender or spend anytime behind bars so long as he stays out of trouble.
