Boston (WBZ Newsroom)  -- The city of Boston is on mosquito watch after a bird tested positive for the West Nile Virus.
 
The red tailed hawk was found in Jamaica Plain.

Health officials say they've already begun larvicide placement operations in catch basins and they're telling people to take steps to protect themselves and their families.
 
So far, there have been no confirmed human cases of West Nile Virus in Boston.
