Concord, NH (AP) -- Three Massachusetts residents have been indicted in New Hampshire on federal charges of importing prescription drugs from overseas and selling them illegally through the Internet.
Christopher Chase and Kenton Benloss of Lynn, Mass., and Phatsany Syharath of Swampscott, Mass., were charged with conspiracy to smuggle and illegally distribute drugs and conspiracy to launder money.
The U.S. Attorney's office says the three took in at least $670,000.
The indictment alleges the ring imported legal and illegal prescription drugs that are commonly abused by bodybuilders. Some are available in the United States with a prescription, but for disease or other medical reasons and not for body building.
