Mass. man faces fireworks charges, again

Plymouth (AP)  -- Fire officials say more illegal fireworks charges would be filed against a Plymouth man after his house was raided by police for the second time in less than four months.

The State Fire Marshall's Office said police found "significant quantities" of materials used to make fireworks in a search Wednesday of Robert Rinaldi's house.

The materials included fuses, chemicals, powders and explosive materials. Numerous devices at different stages of completion also were allegedly found.

Fire marshall spokeswoman Jennifer Mieth said charges would be brought against Rinaldi.

The 57-year-old already faced charges from a raid in April, during which authorities said they'd uncovered an illegal fireworks factory.

A call to Rinaldi's house for comment Thursday was not immediately returned.
