Foxboro, MA (AP) -- The Patriots have signed free agent offensive lineman Anthony Clement, a ten-year veteran who started every game at right tackle for the New York Jets the past two seasons.
Clement previously played for the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers.
The Patriots also announced the signings of their two third-round draft picks, linebacker Shawn Crable from Michigan and quarterback Kevin O'Connell of San Diego State.
Among the team's draft choices who remain unsigned are first-round selection Jerod Mayo, a linebacker from Tennessee. The Patriots first full-squad training camp workout is scheduled for Thursday in Foxborough.
In another transaction, New England gave a contract to Chris Dunlap, a wide receiver who was first signed as a rookie free agent last year and released at the end of 2007 training camp.
