DESCRIPTION
Anchor radio newscasts in an all-news and hourly news format. Write, produce and voice newscasts and reports for on-air, on-line, and other platforms. Contribute high volume of quality reports to WBZ’s all-news product. Use production skills to create exceptional material. Research and produce special series.
SPECIAL SKILLS
Must be creative and excel in breaking news coverage. Must have strong journalistic background, an excellent broadcast voice and delivery. Ability to ad-lib and deliver exceptional reports under constant deadline pressure. Expertise in digital audio production and computerized newsroom systems is required. Previous experience as an anchor and/or reporter in a major market news department is preferred.
