Boston (AP) -- The Massachusetts Turnpike Authority is stepping up the pressure on toll cheats.
Executive Director Alan LeBovidge says police are going after people who don\'t deserve to use neighborhood discounts for North End and East Boston residents. And they\'re targeting people who come on and off the Mass Pike through gates for police and maintenance vehicles.
They\'re also cracking down on limo drivers who use personal FastLane passes when they\'re supposed to be using more costly commercial devices.
Meanwhile, Gov. Deval Patrick said Friday that the MTA has cut overtime by $1.4 million compared with this time last year.
