Patriots Release Regular Season Schedule

Foxboro, MA (AP)  -- The Patriots 2008 schedule puts them on national TV five times, including battles with AFC West rivals San Diego and Denver.

New England beat the San Diego Chargers in the AFC Championship last year, and play them again on October 12. The next week, they face the traditionally tough Denver Broncos.

The Patriots also take on the archrival Indianapolis Colts in a nationally televised game on November 2.

They open the season at home against Kansas City on September 7.

Their NFC opponents include the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks.

New England has a preseason game August 28 against the New York Giants, the team that ruined their perfect season and beat them in the Super Bowl.
