Boston (AP) -- A fire at a high-end hotel under construction in Boston's Back Bay section did not damage any living areas in the building.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk Construction says the fire Monday at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel damaged only the fitness club area, which is still under construction. There was no damage to the building's condominium units, hotel rooms and apartments.
Fire officials say the blaze broke out at 7:43 a.m. on the hotel's fourth floor when construction materials caught fire.
No injuries were reported.
The building was slated to open in July. It's expected to be about one week before officials can evaluate the fire's effect on the project.
Construction is to resume Tuesday.
