Arlen Specter is an embarrassment to the United State Senate.
He is an embarrassment to the people he represents in Pennsylvania.
He should resign immediately for wasting taxpayers time and money.
With all the troubles facing this country...this world...and the senior Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee is involved in a witchhunt against Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots.
Hey, Senator Specter, get a life!
Specter met with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell this week for more than an hour and a half. The disgrunted Eagles fan wanted to know why Goodell destroyed all materials related to the so-called 'Spygate' matter.
Uh, Arlen? Hello? Are you for real?
Perhaps we should ask you a few questions, okay?
What do you think is more important to your constituents, videotapes made by the Patriots or inflation?
How about foreclosures?
Think a pending (if not already in the works) recession matters more to the fine folks of PA than what play is being sent in by some offensive coordinator?
Do you think the fine folks of Pennsylvania, and the rest of the U.S., are more interested in Belichick studying the signals of the opposition or terrorists studying the blueprints of any building in the U.S.?
Obviously, Arlen Specter feels he has nothing better to do than waste, waste, waste, and waste some more taxpayer money.
Perhaps he wasn't paying attention when other NFL, or former NFL, head coaches like Bill Cower said on national television, "What's the big deal, everybody does it?"
True, others weren't quite as brazen as Belichick, but isn't the Senator (and I use that phrase loosely) from PA interested in hearing those stories?
NO! This is Alren Specter's own personal witchhunt.
You should be ashamed of yourself, Arlen Specter, for thinking this personal vendetta is what is on the minds of the fine people of Pennsylvania.
You should resign immediately and let someone who has the interests of the United States of America first and foremost in their heart and head take your place.
You, Senator Specter, are a disgrace to your state and the U.S. Senate.
