Patriots Take a Pass
Running back Patrick Pass is returning to the New England Patriots.
The team said Thursday that it has signed a contract with Pass, who won three Super Bowls in seven seasons with the Patriots from 2000-2006.

Harrison Calls it a Career
Two-time Pro Bowl safety Rodney Harrison announced his retirement on Wednesday, saying he is through hitting quarterbacks after a 15-year career for the New England Patriots and San Diego Chargers.
"I am done, and I am very much so at peace with that," he said in a conference call with reporters.

Patriots Draft Pick Tears ACL New England Patriots third-round draft pick Tyrone McKenzie will miss the 2009 season with a torn ligament in his right knee.
The outside linebacker from South Florida tore his anterior cruciate ligament during rookie minicamp and will be sidelined for the year, a person familiar with the injury said Wednesday night on condition of anonymity.
