Warwick, RI (AP) -- A wrongful death lawsuit brought by the actor James Woods over the death of his brother at a Rhode Island hospital is getting under way.
Woods alleges that his younger brother, Michael, received negligent care at Kent Hospital in Warwick, where he died in 2006 of what was believed to be a heart attack. Michael Woods was 49.
The trial begins Monday in Kent County Superior Court. It's not immediately clear how much money or other damages Woods is seeking.
A spokesperson for the hospital did not return a message seeking comment Friday, and lawyers for both sides declined to comment.
Woods told The Associated Press on Friday that he was seeking "justice" for his brother but would not discuss the case in detail.
