Foxboro, MA (AP) -- Former New England Patriots linebacker Andre Tippett has chosen team owner Robert Kraft to present him at his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The ceremony is scheduled for Aug. 2 in Canton, Ohio. Tippett is among six players who were elected in February to the Hall of Fame.
Tippett spent all 11 of his NFL seasons with the Patriots from 1982 to 1993 and was sidelined for the 1989 season.
Since retiring, he has held front office positions with the Patriots and is currently their executive director of community affairs.
