Jury nearly complete in horse-farm murder case

Brentwood, NH (AP)  -- Another juror was selected Friday in the insanity trial of Sheila LaBarre, putting the total number of jurors at 15.

So far, nine women and six men have been chosen. The court will select 18 total jurors for the case.

Jury hearings will resume on Monday, with the expectation that jury selection will finish up in time for opening statements on Tuesday.

LaBarre has admitted killing 24-year-old Kenneth Countie, formerly of Wilmington, Mass., in March 2006, and Michael Deloge, whose parents hadn't heard from him since 2004, at her horse farm in Epping. She has pleaded innocent by reason of insanity.
