Boston, Ma (AP) -- A 47-year-old man convicted twice of murder has been charged with robbing thousands of dollars from a Boston cab company just two months after he was released on parole.
A plea of not guilty was entered on Gerald Hill's behalf when he was arraigned Tuesday on charges that include armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. He is held on $1 million bail, and also on a parole detainer.
Prosecutors allege Hill and an accomplice robbed the Boston Cab Company dispatch center on Monday.
Hill was convicted in a 1977 stabbing death. He also was found guilty in the shooting death of a man making emergency oil deliveries during the Blizzard of 1978. Prosecutors said they had argued against his parole.
Hill's attorney did not immediately return a call for comment.
